It has been a long wait but finally we will be able to return to the courts tomorrow at IRC .
The public courts will open from next Tuesday.
Of course, there are still measures in place to ensure everyone’s safety and our team will continue to follow the procedures we had in place from the previous lockdown period:
- Masks MUST be worn to and from the courts. We will ask people to leave if they do not follow.
- Groups will be allowed but we will restrict our groups to 4/court and separated in groups of 2 by 1.5 metres. This will be followed strictly.
- Sanitising of equipment before and after use. We will clean down tubes, spray balls, chairs and entrances after every session and before the first session begins to stay in line with government guidelines.
There is a possibility some players may miss out on slots. In order to give as many kids an opportunity to play, we will set up extra groups on Saturday evenings. I know this is not ideal but we will do this from August 31st until the end of September and they will be scheduled as ‘Resilience Camps’ on our GoTimmy registration platform.
We plan to run regular term groups when the situation is more stable and we all feel comfortable and confident.
